Prayer for the ones we Love
Dear God, creator of heaven and earth, we thank You for today and everything the day brings. We thank You for the calmness, and blessings…
Dear God, creator of heaven and earth, we thank You for today and everything the day brings. We thank You for the calmness, and blessings of home, and we thank You for the chaos and business of the world around us. We know You are in control and trust You, Lord Jesus.
Today I pray for my wife, and thank You for her in my life. You knew the person I was to become, and same with her, and You brought us together in the most unsuspecting way, only You can do. The blessings You have given us, the love You have shown us, has been amazing. We continue to learn, grow, and seek You as the center of our marriage.
I thank You for our kids in our life and the situations they bring, the good, the bad, and the ugly. We are thankful for them and know You have Your hands on them. In Jesus’ name we pray for their relationship with you, Lord, and ask for You to always be in their hearts, make them aware of Your presence in their lives. Be in their minds and let them know what media content and propaganda is unsafe for them. Help them to have a discerning heart. I pray for their obedience. Not just to us as parents, but to people they are around, that they learn respect and love towards others. I pray that they learn Your love and not be ashamed or afraid to share Your love with others.
Dear Lord in Heaven, watch over families in our country. Help us parents to have courage to pray with their kids and families on a regular basis. Make meal prayers more involved, morning and night time prayers as well. Teach us to pray openly so the kids learn how to pray openly to You, Lord Jesus. Help us parents be examples of Your love. In Jesus’ name, help keep us parents strong and not let any demon of pride, anger, and misjudgment enter our home.
In Jesus’ Holy and Precious name, Amen.
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:13–14 ESV
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
James 1:5–8 ESV
